SAVE ELEMENTARY MUSIC!!!
WCCUSD wants to eliminate elementary music! They plan to have music be taught in upper grade prep periods with no instruction in instrumental music.
This will have a huge impact on High School Band and Orchestra and on our students who want to learn how to play an instrument. Music is why many students come to school!
This Wednesday, May 13th, there is a School Board meeting at Lovonya DeJean Middle School, 3400 MacDonald in Richmond, and we are having a SAVE ELEMENTARY MUSIC RALLY at 6:00 before the meeting starts at 6:30. Please come if you can, if you care about Elementary Music! You can also zoom into the meeting online to speak at public comment. This is how you join remotely: Zoom: [bit.ly/wccusdboardmeeting](bit.ly/wccusdboardmeeting)
Phone: 669-900-6833
ID: 443916491#
The more people who come and speak, the more likely we are to SAVE ELEMENTARY MUSIC. PLEASE HELP!
