One application per project. Maximum $400.00. If over $400.00 apply for Donors Choose. Do not apply if this project is on Donors Choose. Once a grant has been approved receipts must be submitted within 60 days.

The Ed Fund’s Building the Future Scholarship is designed to support WCCUSD seniors and alumni who are pursuing careers in the skilled trades and technical fields.
This scholarship can help fund things like:
🔧 Trade or technical school tuition
🧰 Tools and equipment needed for your program
📚 Certification or licensing exam fees
🚧 Training programs and career pathways in fields like construction, welding, electrical, automotive, and more
🎓 Open to Class of 2026 seniors + WCCUSD alumni (Class of 2020–2025)

Contra Costa County Fire Protection District in partnership with Contra Costa Fire Foundation proudly presents the 2nd Annual Girls Empowerment Camp!
The Girls Empowerment Camp (GEC) is a free 2-day camp for teens ages 14-18. GEC introduces them to the fire service and provides campers with a realistic, hands-on overview of firefighting and exposure to all aspects of public safety career opportunities in the fire service. Additionally, the program empowers campers with life skills and professional guidance that encourages them to pursue a career in public safety. The camp is held at the Contra Costa Fire Training Center in Concord.
-Hands-on training with firefighting tools and equipment
-360-degree exposure to public safety career options
-CPR/AED training
-Drawstring backpack and T-shirt
-Lunch is provided each day
-Campers must attend both days
-All campers must show up on time and stay for the duration of the day
-Registration is required
-GEC is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day. It is not an overnight camp
