My name is Sarah Creeley, and I have been a Teacher at Hanna Ranch since 1996. I teach 2nd grade and I am so inspired by the effort that my students, along with their family members, have put into this challenging, distance learning year! My 2nd grade class has had perfect attendance almost every day!
We are all very grateful to the Hercules Education Foundation for our Teacher Grant for 2 high interest books; Bird and Squirrel On the Run, and Frog and Toad All Year! With this grant, HEF has enabled my class to have a shared reading experience, and to laugh a lot as we read these funny books together, during our zoom classes.
We are also very grateful for our online IXL, which was a school wide grant that has greatly benefitted my students! We do Math and Language Arts on IXL, which gives immediate feedback on skill specific lessons. My class has answered over 60,000 questions! Our goal is 100,000 questions answered before the end of the year!
