Dear Hercules Education Foundation,

During the “distance learning” experience of this past eight months, my students have been home with their parents, largely without the ability to interact with their environment. While we have long utilized assistive technology tools within the school environment, there has not been a school district policy of matching the school equipment within the home environment. This grant has enabled each of my students to have a Powerlink and switch at home to enable their participation with activities such as cooking (using a food processor or blender), turning on lights/fans, etc., and has enhanced their capacity to engage with distance learning projects.
